The City of Stoughton Utilities is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and independent individual to fill our newly created position of Engineering Technician II. This is a permanent full time (40 hours per week) represented position with full benefits and a starting hourly wage of $25.37 per hour. The primary duties of this position are to provide design engineering for new and replacement electric infrastructure and the electric SCADA system. High school diploma or equivalent and two years of electrical industry experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge skills, and abilities. Vocational/technical training in electronics/electricity preferred with basic and advanced meter school and forklift certification. Must be certified in CPR, first aid and this position shall require the successful completion of the Wisconsin Metering certification program provided by Stoughton Utilities.
