Join us for our 2016 Fall Carnival!
Posted: Wednesday, September 14, 2016
Public Power - A Tradition That Works Please join us on September 29 to celebrate National Public Power Week! Stoughton Utilities is holding a Fall "Public Power" Carnival to celebrate the reliable, affordable electricity we provide to our community.

Public Power puts the people of Stoughton first, and Public Power Week, observed during the first full week of October, gives us the chance to celebrate the advantages of locally owned power with our citizens.

At our Fall Carnival, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. you can play games and win prizes, receive a ride in a bucket truck, enjoy food and refreshments, and receive free gifts (while supplies last)! Kids can enjoy our inflatable slide and obstacle course. Other city departments will also have displays and information to share, as well as equipment such as police cars and ambulances.

Come meet your Stoughton Utilities staff and learn more about your community owned utility!

In addition to the Fall Carnival, other City of Stoughton municipal services will also be holding open houses at their facilities. You can take a tour of the Stoughton Opera House, Stoughton Police Station, Stoughton Public Library, and the Stoughton Senior Center, and participate in the fire equipment treasure hunt at the Stoughton Fire Station.
