Residents of Stoughton were recently rewarded for their dedication to leading by example and working together to preserve the environment. WPPI Energy, the nonprofit power supplier for Stoughton Utilities, recently donated $1,000 to the Stoughton Area School District for environmental education activities in recognition of Stoughton reaching a milestone of customer participation in its Renewable Energy Program.
More than five percent of Stoughton Utilities’ residential customers now purchase renewable energy through the program.
