Asset & Facilities Coordinator
Wage: $36.95 - $49.99 per hour
Stoughton Utilities, a department of the City of Stoughton, an equal opportunity employer, is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as an Asset & Facilities Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to coordinate inventory and construction management for Stoughton Utilities. The position is responsible for contract maintenance, public bidding and requests for quotations, purchasing, warehousing, asset installation, retirement records, and inventory maintenance. The Utilities Asset & Facilities Coordinator also handles the coordination of the construction workorder process from start to finish, including participating in the development of initial estimates, project closeout, and billing.

Other duties include arranging Stoughton Utilities vehicle procurement and maintenance programs, maintenance of the utility Geographic Information System (GIS), participates in the operation and maintenance of the utilities Outage Management System (OMS), participates in the operation and maintenance of the utilities Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. This position also serves as the designated facilities coordinator as well as the safety program coordinator.

Candidates must possess:
- U.S. Citizenship,
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license,
- High school diploma or equivalent,
- Vocational/technical training in electrical distribution, civil engineering, information technology, or another field that provides relevant experience,
- Three to five years utility experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Vocational or utility industry training in one or more of the following is preferred: facilities management, cost accounting, project management, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Outage Management Systems (OMS), basic networking and information technology.

Also required are competent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and work without direct supervision, and basic computer skills and abilities.

This is a full-time, non-represented, non-exempt position, reporting to the Assistant Utilities Director. A competitive wage and benefits package is offered. The base pay range is $36.95 - $49.99 per hour, depending upon qualifications.
